How we work
Speed is a design decision, not a promise.
Here is the mechanism behind fast engineering and integration, and where it stops working. It is the rule Aximyr is built on too: AI proposes, deterministic checks decide.
01 — The problem
Where integration time goes
Very little of an integration budget goes on the hard decisions. Most of it is volume: the twentieth endpoint, the next field mapping, retry logic, schema migrations, documentation.
The usual answer is more people — which adds coordination, which adds calendar.
02 — The lever
What we change
- AI
In the loop across implementation, testing, migration and documentation — the volume work, compressed
As many agents as the job needs, running in parallel
- GPU
Compute for the work that runs in parallel: training, simulation, batch processing, large data transforms
500+ GPU hours of compute so far
- Small
One senior developer directing the agents: no coordination layer, no hand-offs
1 person/0 hand-offs
Replies within a few hours
03 — The process
How an engagement runs
-
Scope, plan and price, usually within 24 hours
One conversation about which systems need to connect and what the manual work costs you today, then a written scope, plan and price. Right now that's usually under 24 hours, often sooner. If the project is a bad fit, you get a plain no here.
-
Define done before building
Written acceptance criteria for what moves where and what happens when a record fails, plus an evaluation set if a model is involved. If we can't say how we'd know it works, we don't start.
-
A working result in week one
Something you can run against your own data, not a design document. Then short iterations, with the failure cases shown rather than buried in a status report.
-
Hand over properly
Code, documentation, running costs and known limitations. No lock-in: run it, change it or take it elsewhere.
04 — When it's urgent
When a connection breaks, we stay on it.
A vendor changes an API, a webhook goes quiet, orders stop moving. You get continuous effort until it runs again, nights and weekends included, not a ticket in a queue.
05 — The limits
Where this does not apply
Compute does not compress everything.
- Other calendarsProcurement, security review, regulatory approval and clinical validation run at their own speed.
- Novel researchGenuinely new work is not a scheduling problem, and treating it as one produces confident nonsense.
- Unspecified workA system nobody can specify does not get faster by being built quickly. It gets rebuilt.
Fast applies to the buildable part. We tell you which part that is at scoping, not halfway through your budget.
